Krystel Dawne Reid Heath, LMSW, started her political career advocating for children in foster care. It is with this passion of public service that Krystel has worked tirelessly over the last eleven years from Capitol Hill to local communities to advocate on behalf of people that would not have a voice in our governmental system. Krystel founded her strategy consulting firm, Capitol Consulting Strategies, in 2008, on the principle that ‘people should come before politics’. Krystel also has previously taught graduate courses as an adjunct professor at the College of Social Work at the University of South Carolina, specializing in policy analysis, program evaluation and economic development courses. Krystel also is a former Political Correspondent with WACH-FOX 57.
